Natural History Museum: 2025 Christmas Campaign

Following on from the success of our 2024 Christmas Shop campaign for the Natural History Museum, we were asked back to create their campaign for 2025.

Like last year, the campiagn is a photography showcase of their Christmas product range, including the annual Christmas jumper reveal. Also like last year, we were giddy at the prospect of working with such a cultural icon.

After pitching a range of ideas, the concept we all gravitated towards was the idea of creating a mythical Natural History Museum Christmas Post Room. With this concept in mind, it was vital we found the right actors to play the roles of the mythical Post Room workers. Despite their different ages, the actors all appeal to the sentimental, cross generational warmth we have to the museum. With Christmas knitwear for dogs in the product range this year, we also had to find the perfect dog to showcase the Christmas dog jumper: Lemon.

Once we had our actors, the next thing we needed was our Post Room set. Using vintage props, we worked hard to mimic the look and lighting of the oldest parts of the museum.

It has been a joy to again provide the campaign creative for such a (literal) national treasure.
